I think I've mentioned before that Josh's room is painted kelly green because of his love of being a Celtic soccer player. One of the jerseys they wear is horizontally striped green and white and it is called the hoops jersey. Josh wanted his room hoop striped. The whole room. I finally talked him into just one wall being painted that way.
This is that wall. The black border around the celtic flag is painted on.
This is a life-sized Ronaldinho - a player on Barcelona FC. Isn't he shocking to look at when you walk down the hall?? Took me some time to get used to him!The wall that Josh's closet is on is painted metallic silver. It has nothing to do with his soccer team - he just wanted a silver wall thrown in the mix!!
Back to the title of this post. Josh has really outgrown his bunkbeds and is ready for something different. So we decided to sell them on Craigslist.
We are Craigslist rookies. We listed the Mustang on there and it is still sitting in the garage!! Not those bunkbeds. Guess how long it took to sell them?5 minutes. Literally.
And, within 15 minutes, we had 4 people wanting to drive to our house to get them RIGHT THEN!
We sold them to a sweet young couple who drove down from God's country, Stillwater, this afternoon to get them. But it left us with 2 burning questions:
1.) Should we have sold them for more $$? and
2.) What else can we sell????
I just might have a new addiction. Look out cats and children - you might end up listed on Craigslist!!

Ah, Craig's list. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Not that Josh's beds were trash. I agree with you...Craig is a genius.

and craigslist..yep a love of ours. we've bought and sold some pretty great stuff on there.
the mustang on craigslist? well i have a feeling if the weather turns warm soon that add will start to get better attention. 'specially if you post a photo w/ you and your *jackie O* glasses on sitting in it!

Yeah I used to use craigslist a lot until I found out about ilist.com, not only can you post to craigslist but you can also post to your facebook and stuff too. Its pretty sweet. Cool blog, btw!

Craigslist gets me in all kinds of trouble. It is so fun to look at other people's stuff!!! (And I totally would have bought those bunk beds and driven 500 miles to pick them up. Not even kidding.)
Bonnie - I would have totally given them to you for FREE if you would have just driven down so we could hang out!!!
